Exhaustion plagued every moment. She slept but was greeted with her mind’s twisted visions. On awakening, she never felt awake. She struggled through each day, being constantly pushed back into the grips of exhaustion. She was so tired. When would it get better?
The loneliness had it’s claws around her. No matter how hard she tried, nothing filled the void. As if the harder she tried, the further away true love became. She was fighting her fate again. Fighting against what was to naturally happen. She wanted it in her own time. She wanted it now. But it wasn’t her time. She knew she must let go, work through her past, put it behind her. Once it no longer hurt her, she would be ready. Perhaps then she could be awake.
